In Wisdom, today I am not going to write much. I have spent the morning going over flash cards of Chichewa for the trip to Malwai...Mulibwanji? (How are you?). Ndili bwino (I am fine)...sorry, practice makes perfect :) ...Next I spent time consolidating my testimony down to less than 200 words in an effort to always have my story to share in a moment's notice. I have a packet of "storying through the bible" to memorize (story telling is a great evangelism tool in this culture. We have to be ready to gather a crowd, tell the story, and then challenge the audience to share it with others. I have been looking at itineraries and rooming assignments as well as who I will be sharing an interpreter with (luckily it's my daughter, I think that will work out great since we know each other's way of thinking and speaking so well.) So today, I am letting you off the hook...no long posts filled with questions and ponderings...just a simple update on what my morning has been focused on: the Malawian people, the widows and orphans of Madzanje where I will be on mission.
I should go now, I need to get back to my studying...don't want to miss any opportunities there because I wasn't prepared.
Madalitso(Blessings), Zikomo (Thank you),
Tionana (See you later),
Tapita (Goodbye),
Amanda
